Tashi Network ($TASHI) Project Dossier

Written for the quest “Seeing the Long Game” with 4hh76u on The Republic.

  1. Project Goal Tashi is building the coordination layer for intelligent systems. It provides real-time, leaderless Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus at the edge so AI agents, robots, drones, and IoT devices can discover each other, synchronize state, and act together across trust boundaries and vendors without a central authority or sequencer.

The stack has three layers:

Vertex: peer-to-peer DAG-based consensus (sub-100 ms finality, gasless). Lattice: global DePIN network of nodes that handle discovery, routing, validation, reputation, and reward distribution. Arc: settlement bridge that posts Proofs of Coordination and token issuance to public chains (Solana and others). Revenue comes from applications paying for coordination services (USD via Gateway or USDC directly). Operators earn Reward Points backed by that revenue and convert them to $TASHI. The token is used for staking (10,000 $TASHI per Resource Node), governance, and pooled staking.

Total / max supply: 10,000,000,000 $TASHI (fixed, no inflation). Initial circulating supply at TGE: 1.6 billion (16%). 1. Unlock + Dilution Risk

TGE float: 16% (1.6B). Largest immediate components are Community (500M fully unlocked) and Foundation (1B of its 2.5B). Months 1–6: Seed is in cliff; Foundation, Node Rewards, and Demand Ecosystem begin linear vesting / accrual. Month 6: Seed starts 18-month linear vest (after 5% already unlocked). Month 12: Team and Advisors start 24-month linear vest after 12-month cliff (0% at TGE). Month 48: Full vesting complete. Node Operator Rewards (25%) and Demand Ecosystem (10%) are usage-responsive: tokens only flow as coordination volume generates revenue. Foundation can allocate from its vesting pool for strategic needs before full unlock.

Dilution is front-loaded by the 16% float and Foundation’s 40% TGE unlock, then becomes more gradual. Team/Advisor cliffs reduce early insider sell pressure. No inflation beyond the fixed 10B supply.

  1. Team Core team (from whitepaper and official site):

Amar Bedi, CEO – previously Uber & Grab (Singapore); scaled startups and >$100M revenue streams. Ken Anderson, CTO – 20+ years distributed systems; created SQLx; founding Chief Developer Advocate at Hedera. Jay McCarthy, CBO – co-founder of SparkLabs; VC with 300+ investments; prior exit to NYSE-listed company. Advisors / ecosystem: Aly Madhavji (Blockchain Founders Fund), Rich Teo (Paxos), Gabriel Schillinger (Animoca Brands), Wei Zhou (ex-Binance), Gabby Dizon (Yield Guild Games), and others. Backed by Exponential Science, Blockchain Founders Fund, and Taisu Ventures.

Pre-TGE / Alphanet stage: real $TASHI is not live; features and economics can still change. Coordination demand must materialize for Node Rewards and revenue share to flow; low usage slows token distribution but also reduces network value. Large Foundation allocation (25%) with 40% unlocked at TGE creates concentration and potential discretionary sell pressure. Vertex consensus is currently proprietary (planned open-source transition under progressive decentralization). Regulatory and market risks typical of pre-TGE utility tokens; whitepaper explicitly states tokens may have no value. Execution risk around physical AI / robotics adoption and multi-vendor interoperability. Primary sources: whitepaper disclaimer, governance section, and roadmap (https://docs.tashi.network/whitepaper/whitepaper/governance; https://depin.tashi.network/roadmap/).

  1. Disclosure Status confirmed as of 26 October 2026: pre-TGE. Official materials state “Real $TASHI isn’t live yet,” Alphanet is the current phase, and TGE is scheduled for Q4 2026. Published allocation table contains no public sale bucket (Seed is private). Earlier December 2025 TGE announcement was delayed.
