Saturn (saturn.credit): the audited protocol with an unpublished token plan

Written for the quest “Seeing the Long Game” with Viking on The Republic.

What it is

Saturn is a pre-TGE credit protocol built around USDat, a yield-bearing stablecoin asset, and sUSDat, its staked receipt token. The stated goal is on-chain credit infrastructure: returns generated on-chain with a transparent book, distributed later through a points-and-seasons layer. A Q4 2026 token generation event is described as a target only. The docs are explicit that token timing and terms are not committed or guaranteed, and as of late October 2026 no token contract exists.

Tokenomics: what is actually known

Almost nothing, and that is the finding. Total supply, FDV, allocation table, and vesting schedule are all unpublished. The only bucket the project has ever stated is up to 5% of total supply for Season 2 points. Funding is a $2M seed led by The Spartan Group, announced 7 May 2026. Five weeks inside a claimed Q4 2026 TGE window, every dilution number an investor needs simply does not exist publicly.

What does verify

The verifiable parts are unusually strong for this stage. Legal terms name Saturn Global Capital Investments Ltd. (BVI), with the X presence operating as a Cayman foundation. The audits page lists two Certora audits plus formal verification, a Certora sUSDat v2 review, and a Three Sigma audit, scoped to the USDat/sUSDat contracts. That is a deeper third-party audit trail than most pre-TGE projects ever publish. The seed is first-party announced.

What does not verify

No founder is doxxed anywhere. No allocation, cliff, or emission curve exists to check. The health of the underlying credit book is described mechanically, not positionally, so its performance cannot be stress-tested from public documents.

Unlock and dilution risk

With no schedule published, unlock risk can only be bounded by category precedent: typically 10-20% floated at TGE with 12-month cliffs and 24-36 month linear insider tails. The 5% points allocation suggests a planned community slice, but until the table ships, any quoted FDV for Saturn is speculation.

Verdict

A real, audited, institutionally seeded protocol with a transparent audit trail and an opaque token plan. The audits clear a bar most peers fail; the missing allocation table fails the same bar. Worth watching, not worth quoting numbers about, until tokenomics publish.
