Qnero (QNR) — Project Research Dossier
Qnero is a pre-alpha privacy-focused blockchain maintained by DigitalGuards. Its design uses mandatory shielded transfers, RandomX proof-of-work, and post-quantum cryptography including ML-DSA-87 and ML-KEM-1024. The project’s stated goal is private-by-default transfers without elliptic-curve cryptography.
Pre-TGE / raise screen: Qnero’s official About page states that there is no token sale and no pre-sale. The public testnet launched on September 15, 2026, but the project describes it as pre-alpha, says testnet QNR has no value, and warns that the chain may be reset. I therefore treat it as pre-TGE for this research.
Tokenomics: The current design lists a 21 million QNR supply cap under its upstream decay schedule. Emission at genesis supply is approximately 4.11 QNR per block with a 120-second target. However, the genesis allocation is explicitly undecided: a 2% placeholder exists but may be removed. Tail emission is also still undecided.
FDV / circulating supply: A current FDV cannot be responsibly calculated because QNR has no established public market price and testnet QNR is explicitly described as having no value. A future hypothetical FDV would be future market price × 21 million QNR. Testnet balances should not be treated as economically circulating mainnet supply.
Unlock and dilution risk: The biggest tokenomics uncertainty is that both the genesis allocation and tail-emission policy remain open. This means a final dilution model cannot yet be established. The testnet can also be reset, so mined testnet balances are not guaranteed economic claims.
Team / verification signals: The strongest verification comes from the public code and technical documentation. Qnero identifies DigitalGuards as its maintainer, publishes an MIT-licensed repository, and provides a public testnet, wallet, explorer, mining infrastructure and technical specifications. The project also openly states that none of Qnero's own code has been externally audited.
