Project Research Dossier — Solidus Network
Can Solidus Network support a credible long-term token thesis before TGE, and what dilution, execution, security, and documentation risks should be resolved before conviction is justified?
Problem / Question Can Solidus Network support a credible long-term token thesis before TGE, and what dilution, execution, security, and documentation risks should be resolved before conviction is justified? What the project is building Solidus describes itself as a decentralized identity and verifiable-credentials protocol using W3C DIDs, verifiable credentials, BBS+ selective disclosure, and a HotStuff-style BFT design. The project is still pre-launch. Official materials place mainnet, audit work and TGE ahead on the roadmap, and its security page states that no third-party audit has yet been commissioned. Tokenomics Planned base supply: 1,000,000,000 SLDS Key allocations:
- Core team: 15%
- Advisors: 5%
- Private round: 12%
- Seed investors: 8%
- Public sale: 5%
- Remaining supply: community, ecosystem, development, marketing, partnerships and operations
Vesting
- Core team: 1-year cliff + 3-year linear vesting
- Advisors: 6-month cliff + 2-year linear vesting
- Private round: 6-month cliff + 2-year linear vesting
- Seed: 6-month cliff + 2-year linear vesting
- Public sale: 25% at TGE + 75% over 6 months The public-sale allocation alone would imply 12.5M SLDS unlocked at TGE, equal to 1.25% of base supply. However, exact circulating supply at TGE cannot yet be calculated from the current documentation because several other allocations use conditional, program-based or non-deterministic schedules. FDV / valuation A verified TGE token price has not been published, so a reliable FDV cannot yet be calculated. The tokenomics page contains an indicative $1/SLDS fee example, but I would not treat that as a confirmed sale price or valuation. Unlock and dilution risk The main dilution risk is not one single cliff. The bigger issue is that private, seed and advisor allocations begin unlocking around month 6, while several other token buckets do not yet have a fully transparent month-by-month circulation schedule. This makes it difficult to model future sell pressure precisely.
Team / verification The official About page names Fatih Koçkesen as Founder & CEO and references Yasin Yıldırım as a former co-founder / past contributor. The project also has public technical documentation, GitHub repositories and named research contributors, which is useful for verification. Key risks
- Dilution risk — investor and advisor unlocks begin after 6 months.
- Circulating-supply uncertainty — not all token buckets have deterministic schedules.
- Tokenomics inconsistency — current materials describe a fixed supply / no further minting while also mentioning 3% annual staking inflation.
- Timeline inconsistency — different official materials appear to reference different TGE timing.
- Security risk — no third-party audit has yet been commissioned.
- Execution risk — protocol adoption and validator decentralization are still pre-mainnet questions.
- Governance concentration — team, advisors and investors together represent a significant portion of supply.
Conclusion Solidus is researchable because it exposes code, architecture and a fairly detailed draft allocation model. However, the current information is not yet enough for a high-conviction token valuation. Exact TGE circulating supply is unclear, independent audit work is still pending, and several official token/timeline statements should be reconciled before launch. For me, the most important things to verify before TGE would be:
- final circulating-supply schedule,
- final token price / valuation,
- independent audit reports,
- canonical vesting table,
- updated launch timeline,
- treasury and governance controls. Disclosure: No position. This research was prepared for due-diligence purposes only.
