Project Research Dossier: KAY9

KAY9 Project Research Dossier I researched KAY9 using its official documentation and primary sources. Project goal: KAY9 is an on-chain watchdog designed to scan newly launched tokens and provide automated risk analysis and deeper audit access. Tokenomics: KAY9 has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The allocation is 45.5% for a public fair auction, 45.5% for permanent liquidity, and 9% for the team. The team allocation unlocks in three stages: 1% at TGE, 4% after 6 months, and 4% after 12 months. KAY9 Public sale and dilution risk: KAY9 does not have a presale or private allocation, but it does plan a public fair auction for 45.5% of the total supply. This is important because the auction represents a public sale and can establish the initial market price. KAY9 The team allocation is relatively limited at 9%, but future unlocks can still create selling pressure. The largest team unlocks occur at 6 and 12 months. Team and contract signals: The documentation specifies the token allocation, vesting contracts and launch mechanism. The project also states that the token has no additional mint function and that the team vesting timestamps are immutable. KAY9 Key risks: The main risks are execution risk, smart-contract risk, adoption risk, liquidity risk, and uncertainty around the eventual auction price. The public auction also means the initial valuation will depend on market participation. Disclosure: I have no position in KAY9 and receive no compensation from the project.
