Project Research Dossier — Commonware (pre-TGE)

THESIS Commonware is an open-source library of modular Rust primitives for specialized blockchains. Teams compose networking, consensus, storage, and execution components rather than adopt a fixed framework. It is credible infrastructure, but not yet a defensible token valuation.

VERIFIED SIGNALS • Commonware reported 17 primitives, 50+ dialects, 93% repository test coverage, and 1,500 daily benchmarks in Feb 2026. • API maturity runs ALPHA→EPSILON; BETA targets backward-compatible formats. • Tempo led a $25M strategic investment; Coinbase co-launched Route 66 and invested. • Public GitHub exposes source, issues, PRs, releases, and discussions. It also reported 10 months of BETA operation in Alto and nine months of security review.

TOKENOMICS & DILUTION I found no official token contract, ticker, supply, allocation, vesting, emissions, public sale, or active TGE in first-party material. FDV, circulating cap, unlock cliffs, and dilution therefore cannot be modeled honestly. This is a diligence gap—not a number to invent. The cap table and investor rights are not public.

RISKS

1. Many components remain ALPHA; the library was not yet battle-tested in Feb 2026.
2. The modular model shifts integration risk to adopters.
3. Small team and undisclosed cap table create concentration risk.
4. Partner signals do not prove diversified production use or revenue.
5. Private vulnerability reporting exists, but no active bounty.

VERDICT Watch/verify until maturity, bounty, deployment, and token evidence improves.
