• What: self-custodial DEX for tokenized US stocks + perps on Robinhood Chain, 95+ markets, 0% spot fees, built by dYdX Labs with Robinhood Crypto (arcus.xyz)
• Timeline: spot beta live 1 Jul 2026; perps beta via waitlist cohorts; full launch later in 2026. Not available in US/UK/CA
• Architecture: off-chain matching (100k+ orders/s, ~20ms) with non-custodial on-chain settlement (docs.arcus.xyz)
• Traction: >$2B volume since launch, >$100M avg daily (company-reported, 25 Aug 2026); ~$2.06B perps volume trailing 30d (DefiLlama, Sep 2026)
• Token: separate Arcus token confirmed by dYdX Foundation CEO; a share reserved for the dYdX community. Supply, %, vesting, TGE date all unpublished

3. Tokenomics check: FDV vs circulating, team/insider share and cliffs are all unknown, so dilution cannot be modelled yet. dYdX community carve-out may attract farm-and-dump. Team is doxxed with a long track record (dYdX founder + Robinhood). No audit report or contract addresses found in public docs.

4. Interpretation: Bull: real usage from day one, Robinhood distribution, new 24/7 tokenized-equity + perps category. Bear: volume mostly company-reported and boosted by waitlist incentives; off-chain matching means partial trust; tokenized-securities regulation; value-accrual doubts (DYDX fell 12-23% around the launch).

5. Conclusion: Watchlist, high interest / low information. Rating 6.5/10 pending (1) supply + vesting, (2) audits + contract addresses, (3) a clear value-accrual mechanism.
