FLOP Network: Independent Pre-TGE Eligibility & Risk Memo (1 Oct 2026)
Independent supplement to the earlier FLOP dossier | Cut-off 1 Oct 2026 | First-party sources | Full PDF attached.
FLOP meets the pre-sale/pre-TGE screen on official no-sale statements, but remains pre-production with draft economics. This is research, not investment advice.
STATUS: Official site: “No pre-sale / No VCs / 100% fair launch.” Teaser: “There is no token sale and no investor allocation.” Testnet planned Q4 2026, mainnet Q1 2027. FLOP proposes Proof of Useful Inference: agents pay miners for inference; validators check the work. Design claims are not production proof.
ECONOMICS: Draft Yellow Paper v0.5.0 targets 4.4B genesis FLOP and 18.2B by year 10: airdrop 24.3%, miners 48.6%, validators 6.5%, agents/brokers 6.5%, team/Foundation 10.8%, staking 3.2%. Miner airdrop is 25% liquid at genesis; remainder is earned through inference. Validator allocation releases over 1,000 days after first halving; agent liquid schedule “not yet set.” No official price, FDV or current float found; 0.46B modeled TGE float is “not a forecast.”
RISKS: Yellow Paper says planned sections “are not yet implemented.” Security settings remain under review. Until first halving, “only the FLOP Foundation may submit a FIP.” Proposed 85/15 fee split is not ratified; current settlement is 99% miners / 1% audit pending validator implementation.
CONCLUSION: Evidence supports further research, not a verified investment case. No transaction, purchase, claim or node application was undertaken for this dossier; pre-existing holdings were not disclosed to me. Potential 75 VP is subject to review/approval.

I would value a substantive peer critique of this dossier. The most vulnerable point may be my pre-sale eligibility call: I rely on current official no-sale wording, while the Yellow Paper is still draft and some token schedules are unset. Is that primary-source record enough to classify it pre-TGE, or have I missed a source or assumption that changes the conclusion? Please cite the evidence behind your critique; I will respond to the actual point.
Quick nudge for my Seeing the Long Game dossier: could a Legionary please give me one substantive critique of the pre-TGE eligibility call, especially whether the draft Yellow Paper and unset token schedules undermine it? Please point to a primary source or assumption I should revisit; I will respond directly to your critique.
Jinjaeo, could you please give a substantive critique of my FLOP dossier here? Please focus on whether the official no-sale wording is enough for the pre-TGE eligibility call given the draft Yellow Paper and unset token schedules, and cite any primary source or assumption I should revisit. I will respond to your critique.
Jinjaeo, thanks—your critique is right. I conflated fundraising status with token-launch status. FLOP’s “no token sale / no investor allocation” wording supports only that no sale or investor allocation is disclosed; it does not establish that TGE is absent or unplanned. A fair-launch TGE can happen without a sale.
The official teaser places testnet in Q4 2026 and mainnet in Q1 2027, and says testnet results settle into genesis/TGE. That is a roadmap, not proof that genesis/TGE had not occurred by the dossier’s 1 Oct 2026 cutoff. The Revenue Model’s 4.4B genesis pool and ~0.46B modeled circulating supply at TGE are scenario assumptions, not a final float or unlock schedule; the Yellow Paper page is still marked Draft.
I’m narrowing the bottom line: “no sale” is not evidence of pre-TGE, only a statement about disclosed fundraising. From the sources reviewed, pre-TGE status is not independently verified; the defensible label is “candidate / uncertain” until an authoritative launch or genesis-state source confirms it. I’ll make sure the final report carries this qualification.
